At first glance it looked like a scam to me, but maybe it's not. I thought it was a scam since the company's called idoit. At first glance I thought that said idiot.

I totally discriminate against web sites which require Flash to see any content on their front page.

The company's site claims compatibility with dish, direct and bell for North America. I'd verify this with the content provider first. But why bother? The DBS companies won't pay for it since they already provide dishes. You'd have to pay extra to buy the thing -- and when you give it to the installer, there's a decent chance he might charge extra for doing "custom" work.

I refuse to even allow the plugins to install. If it requires flash for me to see it, it aint that important.

I dont think its a scam but I would question its performance its the same type of antenna used for satellite video phones that cable news companies use.

Flash plugin is O.K. just watch out for the Flash ActiveX plugin for a Windows computer if in the add and remove programs list you should remove it immediately before your computers windows installation gets trashed!
