I have a DPP quad. Now maybe it's actually two DPP twins, I don't know this stuff very well. I know they are for the 110 and the 119 satellites and that there are 4 cables entering the house.

I have two dual receivers.

I want to run a single cable to a location and then use a separator when I get there to go into a 522 receiver. But do I use two of the four cables and go into ANOTHER separator before I jump onto the single cable going to the location of the receiver?

The DPP Quad doesn't exist yet. There is only a DPP Twin and a DP Quad. The DPP Twin allows you to use a single cable for a dual tuner receiver, the DP Quad doesn't.

Looks like you have a DP Quad and need to run two cables to the dual tuner (522). You will need to replace the DP Quad with a DPP Twin to accomplish what you want.

In that case, rodideker can add a DP34 to the DP Quad getting a total of 6 tuner outputs. Since he's already running a new line it shouldn't be much harder to run 2.
