We're doing a 14 day trial of Stream for a possible change after 29 years on regular DirecTV. The interfaces are totally different and take some getting used to. I'm having trouble with series links. There doesn't seem to be any easy way to create them or find a list of all of them, or to edit them. And I don't see a way to pad extra time on the end. DirecTV sent us two Gemini Air units to try. I don't know if they use the same interface as the regular Gemini but it sure is different from what you see on satellite. Any guidance or suggestions on links would be appreciated.

It is the same on both the Gemini and the Gemini Air. What you have noticed is just the way it is on the streaming side.

To record series press Record button twice.
Or press the … on the remote then press more info
Then record and it will ask if wanna record series.

This will record shows on any channel it comes on.
Not just the channel you hit record on.
Also change choose first run or all.
Once shows start recording go to list and will see all the shows in a tab. Will be able to view by season. And also see a schedule for the shows upcoming.

Reactions: AZ.
there's no need to pad time on streaming because it's cloud based recording and the event timing is dynamic, not guide dependent.
Although there are times it wont pad time so recording the next show is a necessity
AEW Wrestling on Wednesdays ALWAYS runs past the top of the hour..sometimes 8 minutes, sometimes 15 minutes. So I always set the next show to record
Also once in a blue moon Friday Night Smackdown runs past the top of the hour and it cuts off. Usually it may only be 30-45 seconds over but still.....

you're saying your cloud dvr doesn't recognize that a show is running over it's allotted slot? that's the first time i've heard of that one. crazy.

Correct. I've had Directv Stream for a couple years now and those are really the only examples I can think of.
