Tonight at approxamately 8PM ET I will be doing some work on our server.

1) We will be upgrading the version of PHP we are using.

2) We will be re adding file caching to our system which will speed up the system response. We were using caching in the past however turned it off due to some issues. This software has been updated and is reported to fix those issues.

What this means to you is a faster SatelliteGuys. (And thats a good thing!) :D

There should be little to no downtime while this work is being done. But just wanted to make you aware of things just incase I fat finger something. :D

I'm studying up on MySQL for my degree program.

I did notice the server offline message about 5 min ago when I tried to log in.

Yup thats when mysql was being updated. :)

As I said I wasnt planning on doing it but I got a message saying there is a memory issue with the old version and that I should upgrade, so I said ok. (Well actually it didnt give me an option it said click to continue, which then upgraded it)

Ok all server work is complete for tonight.

Tonight we have done the following...

1) Upgraded mySQL
2) Upgraded PHP to PHP 4.4.4
3) Installed Gzip
4) Installed APC Caching version 3.0.12p2
5) Enabled Datastore Caching in vBulletin
6) Repaired and optimized Database
7) Enabled CSS caching in vBulletin

Plus a few other tweeks and minor changes.

Hopefully the system is a little more "Spunky" now. :)

Please let me know if you see anything strange. :D

Thanks for your patience!
