Service Plan - minimum subscribe period?

If I subscribe to the $6/mo Service Plan in order to get Dish to exchange a defective DVR, how long do I have to keep the Service Plan active on my account? 1 month? Is there a cancellation fee if I remove it?
 
You would have to keep it on the account for 150 days. If you decide to cancel it early the cancellation fee is $25.
 
Since the first month is already gone, for the $5.00 difference after 5 more months 5 x $6 = 30 vs $25 I would keep it for the full six months then cancel, since a lot of the replacements DVRs are refurbs and end up having to be being exchanged again.
