I am trying to setup a H24-700 at the beach house. The beach house has an LNB that looks like this. Which dish do I select in the setup menu of the receiver?
That's a slimline 5, non-SWM (four connectors). If your H24 has previously been connected to an SWM dish, when you do satellite setup make sure you select "multiswitch" first and then the dish type. If you don't do it in that order, the dish types will be grayed out.
Also because you don't have SWM you will need a b-band converter, if you don't have one call DirecTv and they will send one out to you.
