Showtime "stutter"?

I recently dropped Starz/Encore and added Showtime. I recorded a few HD movies and there seems to be a stutter, or frame "shift" every few seconds on some of them. I began watching "live" and surfed through the currently showing movies and this happened on some channels and not on others.

Is this just a conversion problem with some movies? It's a slight, but noticeable annoyance

I don't see this issue with my setups (see sig below). Can you provide some details of your system?

Has it been weird white bars or lines at the bottom of the screen moving crazy? LOL That is the best way that I can describe it. I notice this sometimes at a relative's house on the SD receiver. I really did not notice it on her HD receiver. It randomly occurs.

I have noticed this on my favorite show Dexter. I am not noticing it on others channels as I also sub to HBO. I hope someone gets this corrected soon.
