I am having signal loss on some transponders on the 119 satellite. It seems to just be the odd transponders. I have the 1000.4 dish and all other satellites and transpoders seem ok. But here is the question this only has been happening with the real hot weather and only happens during the peak heat durning the day. During the night it is fine and I can view all channels on the 119 satellite. Any thoughts? Does sun and high heat effect the signal?

Heat typically doesn't affect the signal but it may impact the performance of the LNB. It is likely that you're experiencing heat-related LNB failure.

The other possibility is that your dish is literally tipping due to flexing in the supporting structure (roof, wall, etc.).

I have had same today on 110 and 119.
I get "searching for signal" or some such message but when I hit menu, my picture is back.
No problem until today. It has been dropping out about every 10 minutes but signal is ok on all 3 birds.
