Northern California
Sorry, probably an old topic but.....does anyone have specific optimal signal strength reading for Northern California, 150 miles north of San Francisco, semi coastal, I'm hovering around 50 currently depending on the time of day. I've noticed several of the SF locals are blotchy with occasional audio out of sync, KTVU, KRON and KGO sometimes, this started about a month ago...using Hoppers, 110, 119, 129. 50 or so on 119 and 110, 25 to 35 on 129....HD
Thank you

What do you have for equipment? You should have 2-3 satellites on your system each has different signal strengths per transponder.

You need an alignment tune up...... 129 is way too low....

Bobby,
Thanks for the reply, that's what i thought too. Dish is coming to re-align, I was wondering about the 50's also. I't been several years since it's been pointed and I've read they need a tuneup occasionally.
Thanks again,
Chas.

How Should Dish be compensated if Directv/At&T Merge?

The worst customer service I have ever received from Dish
