Signal Strength

I live in Birmingham Alabama 35007. There is not a cloud in the sky today and this is my signal strength. Are these normal. I ask because I am getting so sick of rain fade I am ready to switch to something else. Even the smallest of storms will knock the TV out. I typically loose signal at least once a week.

Your strengths on all 3 satellites are very low. You need to call and get DISH to come out and peak your dish. If they try to charge you , ask to be sent to cancellation and they will work with you to peak the dish at no cost , if they want to keep your business.

Near a tree
I bet its turned from one side to the other.. walk out to it with a 7/16's wrench and turn it yourself.. just a hair one way or the other. Look at the bolts to see if they are loose.. might even be a slight drop in elevation from something hitting it. This is a easy fix on your own.

get a little FRS radio to someone inside to watch the meter and you go outside to the dish and just talk back and forth..simple.

Peak 119 Trans 15 to above 80 or around 80 and then just look at the other two..should be all set.

EA

If you have a LOS to EA you could get your programming from it. Birmingham locals are on 61.5. So you could use 61.5 for locals & 72.7 for the HD. Right now nothing on 77 is needed in your area. In a couple of months there be an even stronger sat at 61.5 with E 15 going there.
