I have a customer who lives in Mexico and Miami.
In Mexico he is using a 30 inch dish and a universal dual LNB.
He is using a sling box to get the channels here in the US.
He is not receiving any HD channels on his receiver.
Whenever he goes to a HD channel it says searching for signal on tuner one.
He is receiving all the standard channels with no problem.
Does anyone know what the problem could be.

Thanks for any help

He needs the SL3 or SL5 in order to receive the hd channels. There is a thread about using separate lnbs somewhere here, but it is a complicated setup, IIRC.

I posted this thread in the DTV section because he said he had a Directv receiver.
He has dual tuners on a dual universal LNB..
Can you tell me why he gets all SD channels but he gets a message searching
for signal on tuner 1 when he goes to an HD channel.
Are there HD channels on 58 degrees?

Thanks for any help.
