I was going to try to get a Skystar 2 v2.3 because of the blindscan, but TSReader says
"Note 1: Use of BBTI drivers version 4.4 are required for operation with TSReader."
Does that mean I will not be able to do both? If I upgrade the driver to 4.4, that means the card won't be able to blindscan. Is that correct?

Thanks for the info. I have decided to get a DVB card, and I can't afford to buy the wrong one.

No Blind scan with the 4.4.0 drivers because the blind scan software was written on earlier drivers. Altxo the creator of altdvb has a utility that can switch Skystar 2 drivers very quickly. I believe Majjor also has a driver changing utility.

Even changing the driver by the device manager doesn't take long.

Ok. Thanks.... Should I still get the Skystar 2 then, or should I just go with Twinhan 1020A?

Diseqc switch problems with the Twinhan, so I would stick with the Skystar 2. The version 2.3 is a plus because it's tuner is stronger and because it is capable of blind scans.

Ok. Thanks.... You would think someone would just produce a card or driver that has the best in one place. Why didn't BBTI continue to have the blindscan in their latest driver? It is really annoying. It doesn't seem there would be a memory issue, as it seems that would be handled by the computer and not the card.
