Sling TV VOD question

Im new to this so be gentle LOL.

I have pretty much figured out with the premiums, I am not beholden to watching say Westworld when it airs, as long as I am sub'd to HBO via sling. I know sling does not have a cloud dvr like Vue, but I do notice stuff is on VOD for channels.

For example, something like Deadliest Catch, or Wahlburgers (my wife enjoys the show), other than watching live, are these things you can catch a few days later via VOD, or does it depend strictly on the channel/program?

Does Sling allow you to log in and use the original Network apps like Discoverygo etc..?

As far as I know, only with Watch ESPN.
