Friday is not a typical uplink day. What were you expecting?

NORMALLY

Wednesday Noon Central - - 2pm Eastern -----
Main Uplink most changes. Includes
---adding new channels for subscribers
---removing channels from subscribers
---uplinking test channels or channels dish intends to add eventually
---Removing test channels or channels dish intended to add but never could firm up a contract.
---engineering changes

Every night at 1 am central - - 3 am eastern ----- Daily sports packages channel realignments

SOMETIMES
Thursday uplinks usually fix issues created by mistakes on Wednesday uplinks.
Monday, Tuesday - uplinks with some changes but rarely anything new.

RARELY (like only one time I can remember since 1997)
Friday - New channels turned on for subscribers

NEVER
Saturday or Sunday uplinks that do not involve sports package channel realignments.

Keep that in mind before you open another thread asking why there was no Friday uplink
