Programming Alerts

Time Warner Cable Los Angeles' agreements with programmers to carry their services routinely expire from time to time. We are usually able to obtain renewals or extensions of such agreements, and carriage of programming services is discontinued only in rare circumstances. The following agreements with programmers are due to expire soon, and we may be required to cease carriage of one or more of these services in the near future:

Inspiration Network, NBA TV, GMA Pinoy, HDNet, HDNet Movies, Lifetime, BBC On Demand, E!, GSN, Great American Country, ShopNBC, Style, The Weather Channel, KTLA, KEYT and KUSI.

We are currently taking steps to ensure that all of our customers, regardless of equipment, will continue to be able to view KABC after the end of the broadcasters’ DTV transition on June 12th. However, it is possible that we may be required to cease carriage of KABC in analog and standard definition formats on channel 7. Regardless, KABC’s HD signal will remain available on channel 407 to customers with HD converters and will continue to be accessible on direct-connect digital televisions and other devices that include a QAM tuner.

In addition, from time to time we make certain changes in the services that we offer in order to better serve our customers. The following changes are planned:

Effective May 27, 2009, Smithsonian HD will be launched on the HD Tier (an HD box is required) on channel 420.

Crime & Investigation HD will be launched on the HD Tier (an HD box is required) on channel 421 on June 19, 2009 with a preview beginning May 27, 2009.

The launch of Fox Sports West HD (24/7) on channel 463 and FSN Prime Ticket HD (24/7) on channel 464 previously scheduled for May 27, 2009 has been has been delayed by the programmer. FSN/Special Events HD (part-time) on channel 413 will be moved to channel 463 on May 27, 2009. Fox Sports West HD (24/7) and FSN Prime Ticket HD (24/7) will be launched on channels 463 and 464 as soon as they are available.

Effective May 27, 2009, KCOP (MyTV) HD will move from channel 410 to channel 413.

Effective May 27, 2009, KPXN (ION) HD will be launched on the Broadcast Basic service level (HD equipment is required) on channel 410.

Effective May 27, 2009 in Canyon Country and Santa Clarita/Stevenson Ranch KDOC (IND) will move from channel 25 to channel 6.

Effective May 27, 2009 in South Pasadena and San Marino, KDOC (IND) will move from channel 10 to channel 6 and Leased Access will move from channel 6 to channel 10.

Effective May 27, 2009, MLB Extra Innings/NHL Center Ice will be removed from channels 701 through 710. These same channels will continue to be available on channels 755 through 768. No programming will be lost.

Effective May 27, 2009, we will be required to cease carriage of HDNet and HDNet Movies unless an agreement with the programmer is reached. If an agreement is reached HDNet will move from channel 420 to channel 459 and HDNet Movies will move from channel 421 to channel 458.

Effective June 3, 2009, Lifeskool On Demand and Kid’s Club On Demand will be discontinued in all areas. Lifeskool On Demand is also carried on channel 1044 in some areas. Kid’s Club On Demand is also carried on channel 1024 in some areas.

We may cease carriage of KABC’s multicast service currently provided on channel 445 no earlier than June 5, 2009

For your infomations:)
