Hello,

I've got a VIP211k, but I have the old 61.5 dish setup. It has a single LNBF pointed at 61.5. I seem to only get international channels, but my dad says we should be getting American channels as well. Could it be that my LNBF can't handle the HD channels? Like does the LNBF be able to handle 8PSK signals, or is that the receiver's job?

Also, if I take out the single legacy LNBF and put in a DishPro LNBF will I get 61.5 and 72.7 with the same 18" dish?

I used the search, but didn't find any info regarding this.

Thanks

You would need a Dish 500 to get 61 & 72....You can do a Legacy Twin. Thats what I have
Legacy Twin to get 110 & 119
Separate dish for 129
SW21 to combine them

So, a legacy twin or dishpro twin can be used to get 61.5 and 72. I don't have to re-align the dish correct? Also, the legacy or DishPro LNB will work to receive HD channels?

you will need to swap out the dish if it is the 18" dish. If its a Dish 500 the Twin will fit fine.
Both Legacy and DishPro Twins can get the HD
