...with a new PS2 bundle!

White PlayStation 2 bundled with SingStar and mics for $150 - Joystiq

Seriously though, this could be tempting to get for the little lady for Christmas... she loves this game and has wanted a PS2 for a little while. She's not shallow and hungry for the latest graphics like I am, and loves all the PS2 racing games.

She got a Wii for Xmas last year.

It sounds a good deal bud, but the Wii is awesome, maybe get her some new Wii games for Christmas?
On another note I am surprised that Sony is still pushing the PS2 sales and actually still releasing games for it, unlike Microsoft with their original xbox.

They've got to keep all the black dollars coming into their game unit as they can, too many red ones leaving it.

I think by the end of next year, all the major PS2 releases will be done, and support will officially start to dwindle for it.

It's going to be a solid console for a long time, it will line the pockets of Gamestop's executives for years to come with resales of consoles and titles.
