I am assuming (perhaps mistakenly so) that the new 80GB model will include the dual shock controller? Still don't have a PS3, but do have a newer PS2 so BC isn't that important to me.

I don't know if there's anything concrete about that, but it's a safe assumption. I believe they've stopped production of the SIXAXIS.
