Still have to have a computer to use it. So its not exactly cheap

External HD-DVD drive can be used on XP/Vista machine and can be found for about $120.

Nice going there Sony.

But they can do whatever they want now so *shrug*

Talking about the exit from microprojection, and focusing on flat-panel. "According to NPD, Sony was the leader in market leader in dollars and units -- even with the highest average selling price." Wait, is this guy calling his customers suckers?

YUP. They can do whatever they want now.

Apparently Sony's sales are way, way up. This year's holiday winners: Bravia TVs, Reader, Walkman players, Blu-ray, digital imaging... ok, so basically he's just naming every product Sony makes.

They need to rename "CES" to "Propoganda Fest" :haha :haha

While we like Blu-ray burners as much as the next guy, we've never understood why the burners came first. Well, the wait is finally over and Sony has just announced the BDU-X10S (reader only) for both the PC (pictured) and laptop (after the jump) with a MSRP of $200 -- curiously not 199.99


A bit misleading... We like burners... This reader only is cool... *shrug*
