Soon 4 New HD's in Puerto Rico Lineup

Hi Everyone


From good sources, the lineup of HD channels for Puerto Rico will be getting 4 new channels. Replacing Disney,Disney XD,ABC Family and ESPN News we will be getting channels: TCM (132 Turner Classic Movies), G4 (191), ID (192 Investigation Discovery), TRU (204 Tru TV). All of these are in Amricas Top 200 pakage. This follows Dish Network standardisation on pakages for PR, Americas Top 120 and Top 200 HD channels, making these two pakages the same as in the CONUS region. We are now missing some channels of Americas Top 250 in HD. At least they are doing something.

Corection. After this addon we will still be missing from Americas Top 120: CMT, Fox News,VH1,HLN and from Americas Top 200: Hallmark. I am not including Galavision and Telefutura since they are blaked out from our area anyway, from Americas Top 200 pkg.

From the Americas Top 250 we have: FSC (149), NTGeo (186) and Tennis (400).

We do not have: Bio (119),Diy (111), FoxB (206), HMC (187), HistI (121), NatgW (190), SCI (193), SMC (395), Style (115), VS (151).

We do not have but they can give them if they wanted to because these two channels are on Sat 110: Encor (340) and Green (194)

And also we do not have the mayority of the Platinum HD.
We have: HDTHR (364), HDNMV (383), PlDIA (369)
We colud have if they want to CI (386) it is in CoNUS Sat 110

Yes, we get NHL Network HD. The only channels missing from our lineup are the ones that I mention above. It also depends on the package that you subcribe too.

Richard, I want to say these are great news, but somehow it doesn't feel like it. Although It is always nice to get new HD, seems that this does not spell good news for the Disney channels lost. Dish even removed the temporary chs they had up for those. And, what's the deal with all the CONUS HD in 110 that they don't make available to PR. Anyway, I just hope this move is the beginning of more HD to PR. Keep them coming.

Dish, all we are saying is: same price, same HD channels for all.

Tru tV, a channel that I never watch....most of their programing is SD anyway..

Hi Tom

NTGEO channel 186 HD is on Puerto Rico's Lineup. You must have Americas Top 250 to get it. Or if you are refering to National Geo Wild then no that is not part of the lineup.

NHL and NFL Red Zone

We are not getting NHL HD. NFL Red Zone HD shows on my lineup (through 61.5). I have my fingers crossed they dont remove it throughout this season.
