Sooooooo...what happened to Fuel?

Surprised no one has mentioned it (or at least I couldn't find any mention)...Fuel (SD) was uplinked last week in that big flurry of activity, but it was never turned on. In fact, we knew Fuel was uplinked before we were even sure about Speed HD and FX HD.

I would have figured it was all a package deal...that carriage of Fuel was part of the holdup on Speed HD and FX HD. Also, it seems weird that they uplinked only the SD channel for a channel that DOES have an HD feed, yet they've been taking SD channels like BET-J and Logo and upconverting them.

With the sudden push to add channels to the Platinum HD package, even if they're not in HD, I would have thought Fuel HD would be a likely candidate. I suspect Fox wouldn't allow them to take just the HD feed. Perhaps the HD version is on one of the TMP channels, but why wouldn't they have flipped the switch last week?

I just realized how pointless this thread is, as it's asking to explain DISH's logic, and they haven't done anything logically so far this year. Still...Fuel...discuss. Or not.

I read somewhere that Fuel will be added in May of this year.
