Southwest Cooking Discs

Cooking disc.JPGCooking disc 1.JPGFajitas.JPGSupper... thin sliced chuck steak with sliced bell pepper & onion with diced green chiles & rub...

Went Deer hunting Saturday thru yesterday, camped out and used the disc quite a bit for everything from ground beef, hamburgers to T-Bones a couple times (forgot my grill) worked really good. I want a deeper one now for cooking asado etc ...

Going to try Carnitas if the the wind doesn't get up too much later... have the meat cubed up & mixed with my rub and some additional red chile out of the blender...

Broke out the disc... sliced up a tater, 2 strip steaks, half an onion, 2 strips of bacon, 2 hatch green chiles and some sliced mushrooms ... not bad. (and it is nice out around 62)

after 9 here in Oklahoma and to make it worse, watching my Pokes play Baylor on tv, in the Big12 tourney in KC and they keep showing all this BBQ that's available around the arena. :(

That shot came out blurry ...still tastes good though! caramelized an onion, added fresh sliced mushrooms, garlic & diced hatch green chiles to the burrito meat...
