Speed Tv's website listed this weekend's F1 race as being HD. Not that I could tell cause us poor folk with Dish can't watch it. My wife isn't very happy and keeps bringing up Direct.

Certainly didn't look like HD to me.

Don't get me wrong - it kicked - ass compared to the feed i had been watching on Dish - but it wasn't HD - at least not from where i was sitting ... I'm pretty sure it was not listed as being in HD on the Directv guide either.

I just took the plunge and switched to Direct TV with Hotpass. When I canceled DISH the retention gal said (in english) that she just got the announcement today that SPEED HD is coming in May. I believe her, I really do.

If you believed her, why the switch? That's less than two months! And I believe in the tooth fairy, too!

Dish doesn't have Hot Pass.
