Spider-Man Brand New Day (2026)

Looks like I might be waiting a while to catch it on streaming. Doing extremely well in the theaters.
The Tinsel Town Theater we just left had Spiderman play in like 7 or 8 theaters, every hour on the hour starting another one. We hit the 12pm movie. We just left the theater and got home. This movie is going to make a ton this weekend alone. They had it in rumble vision and 3-D and normal HD as well as well as XD and Nicer seats too. :biggrin

Now playing local single-screener. Skeptical of "marvel" movies. Worth a try?
IF you saw the other movies in the series, YES. IF you haven't seen them it won't register as strong, since it is about Peter Parker and his friends who don't remember him, due to what happened in the last movie. Cool tie in with another franchise as well.

I read Tom Holland is looking at a $100 million dollar bonus from his latest Spider Man movie. It has made over $2 billion world wide now. That bonus is on top of the $20 million he wanted up front to play him. The bonus could still go up with the amount they continue to rake in on ticket sales. Not bad for a decade of work playing the character. :biggrin

I just contributed another ticket sale towards the "Spider-Man: Brave New World" total. I'm glad I paid the premium to see it on the big screen(s).

It was my first experience with ScreenX. The sound was much improved, as well. My only complaint would be that the screens didn't line up from my middle seat, so there was a visible up-tilt to my peripheral vision. But it really made those hanging out upside-down from the skyscraper scenes intense! I was just surprised that it was not 100% of the movie.

But, overall, I'd give it a 9. I enjoyed "No Way Home" just a smidge more. I'll watch it again when it comes to Disney+ later this year.
