Hi,

I currently have 2 cable lines coming from the dish to a panel in my home (basement), each cable connected to a Holland Diplexer DPD2.

At the time the dish was installed, my basement was not finished and running the cable was easy. Well, not any more. So, I would like to split one signal so that I can install another dish box.

Can you please advise what kind of splitter I need to purchase?

A part and manufacture along is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Taz

Please install a splitter and tell us how well it dosen't work. This question has been asked and answered so many times it should be posted in big bold letters at the top of the page. Please try searching.

Actually if someone was using a DISH 300 with a Dish Pro single or dual LNB a splitter can be used. There is a very limited use for splitters.

you cant do this to install another box
BUT
if you want to 'copy' a tv...
any splitter will work.
as long as you split from the uhf/vhf line on one of the diplexers. this will copy the ch 60/73 signal of one of your tv2 tuners.
