I'm trying to find the name for a "splitter" that was used on my last install by a Dish installer. I have a single RG6 cable coming into my 622 and that's where the "splitter" was installed, to split into my 2 tuners. Does anyone know the proper term for this device and where's the cheapest place to buy one?

All I want to know is, is it the pro model?

msmith,

The only way to be able to serve more than one Satellite tuner from a Single Satellite Coax feed is to use Dish Pro PLUS hardware. Hence, there is only One Separator, and it is, and I know this might sound familiar, is a Dish Pro Plus Separator.

You said Dish Pro PLUS Hardware. Any particular kind of hardware, or will any work?

Ok, sorry. Couldnt help it:p

It needs to have a Dish Pro Plus LNB or a Dish Pro Plus switch on your dish in order to work. Otherwise to seperate lines in are required.
