some info http://tech.dishnetwork.com/departmental_content/TechPortal/content/tech/techmiscspotspotbeam.shtml and http://www.lyngsat.com/uslocal/California.html and http://www.dbstalk.com/ekb/297 the last one has a lot of info. as far as i can see almost all los angeles channels are not spot beam because they are part of the distant network stations. if you add the super stations you will get ktla and a lot more i advise it! i got them all the everything pack with san diego locals los angeles and new york dns and superstation pack.
Thanks for helping. I believe I seen a better footprint of the spotbeam. I bet it must of been the new 110 I seen.

hobojo -- I must of missed that link, but yes that is the one I remembered looking at, for 110. Have you seen one like that for 119?

....Spot 08 may reach Quebec, New Brunswick, and possibly along the northern coast/edge of Nova Scotia. In fact, it looks like New Foundland and Labrador way to the northeast has a better chance than Nova Scotia.
....Spot 04 may reach the southwest tip of Nova Scotia.
But this is just estimating using the spotbeam map.
Using the above link and this link, http://ekb.dbstalk.com/110list.htm, you can scroll down through the column labled "TP" and find the transponders with s08 and s04 and see which TV markets (and stations) may reach those areas.
TP-12 s04 = Philadelphia, PA (Allentown/Bethlehem, Reading, PA, Vineland, Atlantic City, NJ)
TP-18 s04 = Philadelphia, PA (Burlington, NJ)
