'Star Trek: Starfleet Academy' Renewed for Season 2, Tatiana Maslany to Guest Star in Season 1

I've not been optimistic about this show based on what I've read so far. Seems to be aimed at a younger audience. Interesting though that Tatiana Maslany will have some sort of role.

Maybe it's a "Ship of Theseus" situation: the Golden Gate has existed in a constant state of repair and conservation that even though individual molecules have been replaced over the millennia, it still occupies the same 4D timeline event-space as the original Golden Gate Bridge.

Holly Hunter with her lisp. Looks like a teenager soap with sci fi elements. All about the younger class and getting to know each other. I didn't see Tilley in there from S.T. Discovery. She was supposed to be a teacher.

I never start until all the episodes are available so that won't matter. We'll see, I normally watch most things Trek.

Looks as bad as Discovery to me. Also announced that Stephen Colbert will be joining the cast.

The show has picked someone special for the voice of the morning announcements at Starfleet Academy, Stephen Colbert of CBS' The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Here is the video announcement of Colbert as Starfleet Academy's Digital Dean of Students. He will be "giving daily announcements to the students and alerting them of anything that needs their immediate attention.

Or are they just going to start it Now and put it after whatever the most recent show is, which would forget about everyone that came before them ?

I Hate the Pre quils in most cases ... also dislike Different Timelines.

Nope, this is in the post-Discovery in the future timeline. Tilly is one of the instructors, Tiig Nitaro reprises her Discovery role as well.
