Star Trek: Starfleet Academy - Paramount+

…cameos by Rok-Tahk from Prodigy and Peanut Hamper from Lower Decks…

I stand corrected. Closed Captioning doesn't identify the Brikar cadet or the human cadet in the corridor right after the opening, but it isn't Rok-Tahk. Likewise, the EXOcomp in the turbolift isn't Peanut Hamper, but is identified as Almond Basket in the Closed Captioning:

Why didn't they just call this show "Captain Chairwhore" and be done with it? For cryin' out loud!

[primestar31]

WTF, Federation Outpost PIKACHU?

[Foxbat]

Wow, big episode! The best one so far, IMHO.

[Foxbat]

Today's episode was another good one. Sure, there are problems with the details at one point, but it wasn't a no-consequences exercise.

Attention scriptwriters: Please, enough with the Trials! Other than that, I thought the series had merit. I'll watch next season...

I thought it was Good, Not Great.

I'll watch Season 2 if it gets here in the same Millennium ...

[long_time_Dish]

I haven't finished it yet...

[KAB]

Goes without saying, it was better than Discovery.

Then, I'm glad I passed on Discovery ...

Finished it last night. Overall I enjoyed it all. They recently finished filming season 2. I imagine it will be out about the same time next year, once season 4 of Strange New Worlds airs. With the changes at Paramount, I doubt it goes any further after season 2.

I hope S4 of SNW is better than S3 was...

I probably won't bother starting this now.

Quote excerpt from Kurtzman: "thanks to the hundreds of hardworking humans who pour every ounce of their talents into the work daily with imagination and reverence."

What, couldn't just say "people" and make it sound normal?

It's dead, Jim!

Well, it has a Year to make its self better , enough for Paramount to change it's mind ...
Good Luck.

The Variety article states that season 2 has already completed production. I think the post above yours captures the reality.

Yes, Season 2 is already done from what I heard previously, so that will come out later ....
I doubt they sh*t can the whole thing, seeing that 2 is in the process, all the people involved must feel great about it ...

Nah, it was already done by then. I'm betting they doubled-down for season 2, and it'll be even more whacked.
