Starchoice question

I have a Starchoice Dual Stack lnb system. I was wondering if the Zinwell SAM 3402 3x4 multiswitch will work with my system? I want to add another receiver and the switch that came with my system has only has 2 outputs. I sincerely appreciate any assistance.

No - you need a 4X4 or 4X8 22 khz switch that passes signals up to 2150 Mhz

Here is the type of switch you need
SW44 4X4 FOR DIRECTV SATELLITE MULTISWITCH MULTI-SWITCH on eBay.ca (item 400090286363 end time 05-Apr-10 21:53:16 EDT)
You connect the output of the 2 LNBFs to the 2 low voltage inputs

Here is the exact Eagle Aspen 2x4 multiswitch that SD used for stacked systems
Eagle Aspen Multiswitch for Star Choice, 2 Stacked LNBF on eBay.ca (item 170384591686 end time 16-Apr-10 11:59:08 EDT)

Yes - the 22 kHz tone sent out by the receiver tells the switch to select the Anik F2 input
