Sad, sad news!

[ame="http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4306275"]Steve McNair, former Tennessee Titans QB, found dead of gunshot wound - ESPN[/ame]

A yet to be identified female was also found fatally shot in the home.

Wow.

Very surprising, shocking, and saddening.

I remember a lot about this guy:

Nearly won the Heisman in 1994

Revived the Oilers/Titans in the late 90s

Made Tennessee into a legit NFL powerhouse

Shared the MVP award with Manning in 2003

Had one of the great games in Super Bowl history, when he kept making so many big plays.

Had a nice season with the Ravens in 2006 before injuries led him to retirement

You will not be forgotten, Steve.

I don't know what to say. I just turned to ESPN News and they were showing him. WOW.

Nothing confirmed but it's either double homicide or murder/suicide. They don't know yet.

It was more than likely a Freudian slip, but earlier an ESPN News anchor called McNair's death a "murder".

Great tribute, Sabres! :up

Wow...a player who played through alot of pain and injuries, It will be intresting to see how this story unfolds

Apparently McNair was the victim of a murder-suicide:
