Still seeing inacurate post dates

Just looked at the computer forum and its listing the vista sticky as being the most recently posted with a date of 5-27-08, is this one of the issues that will be addressed in an upcoming update?

Laff nothing like a post about the odd date stuff that has been occuring to be hijacked by spam.

If a post was deleted (spam) and that was the last new post made, it will display the first sticky as the newest post until a new post is made. We get tons of spam in the computer forum.

Well, I can understand what you are saying, but my main example is I keep seeing the No Software Ad's post show up as the most recent post in the Classifieds forum, even when there are plenty of new posts to other threads.

The No software post is the first sticky.

If they delete a new thread, then the software automatically flags the first sticky as the newest post until another post is made. That is why.

Makes sense, but it does seem like a bug since even if they delete a post, there are plenty of newer threads in that forum than the No Software Ads sticky.

It is a bug in the software. However my tests have shown that this bug is fixed in the new version of vBulletin which I will be installing when I return from my trip.
