Hmmm...K-Love/Air-1 are going to be at Spirit West Coast. Maybe I can send them a couple of thousand letters letting them know how great Glorystar is...then when you guys are a couple of booths apart, they'll BEG you all to put (both of) them on the bird so that this nut from Washington State will leave them alone! :D

JCTV will be shooting segments of Spirit West Coast for future broadcasts, but there is no live coverage of the event.

K-Love is actually based a few miles from our facility in Sacramento and our Sales Manager previously worked for them. We have been encouraging K-Love to consider placing their radio station on Glorystar.

That would be outstanding! We used to listen to them all the time and even sent a chunk of money their way every month. For the last several years we have lived in areas that do not carry their program. The best I can do is listen to them over the internet with iTunes. It would be a lot better to get them over the home theater system.

Yet another reason for me to make the switch when SA goes dark. :)

Cheers,
Red

If Glorystar users really want EMF's programming on Glorystar they should let EMF (Air 1 and KLove) know! I remember hearing that the reason they where both taken off SA at one point was because there was not enough $$$ support for EMF to contiune their relationship with SA.

Wow!!! We couldn't believe how many SatelliteGuys members stopped by the Glorystar Booth! It was wonderful that you introduced yourselves and for the suggestions and support!

Congratulations the Free Glorystar Christian Satellite System drawing winner, Brandon Wood from Atascadero, CA!

We handed out several thousand flyers to people who are continually amazed that the channels were free after the equipment purchase. The Free to Air concept amazes people who have just accepted the myth that any programming of value must have a subscription attached.

Yes, It was a live feed inside the Exhibitor Tent! We brought a PVR to demo the channels and decided to try and obtain a live feed through the "big top" tent. Installs don't get any more blind than this! The compass was swinging like a drunken sailor with the interference of all of the power feeds and electronics in nearby booths.

We leveled the speaker stand support mast, set the elevation angle, estimated the azimuth reading .... and within 2 minutes had peaked the signals. Boy do we love an install when it is that easy! I am sure that the prayer in advance helped! Signal was reduced by 20% but still gave acceptable signal levels of even the weakest transponders (signal quality was reduced slightly with the morning and evening moisture built up on the fabric when the fog would roll in from the Pacific Ocean onto the Laguna Seca Speedway).

We appreciate the word of mouth in the campsites, on the venue ground and even on stage and the many people that visited the booth after hearing about the Glorystar system for the first time. As a result, many emails were collected for brochure PDFs and hundreds of flyers were sent home to be distributed to friends, pastors, and church members.

Several broadcasters, especially our broadcasting partner JCTV, actively promoted and handed out Glorystar fliers. Met with several potential broadcasters and expect that new channels and promotional partners will result.

Thank you again to all that visited and hope to see more of you at the Joshua Festival in Northern California in 3 weeks or at the SBE Satellite Expo in Reno!

AWESOME news Glorystar1!
