We have had Directv in our home for about 1-1/2 years now and the signal has pretty much always been good. Thursday night my wife and I were getting ready to watch a NCAA game at around 10:00 on CBS but the signal basically froze and then became terribly pixellated. I switched the TV input to my antenna and the signal was fine. Right after the game ended I switched back to Directv and the signal appeared to be back to normal. However that's when the weirdness started. A commercial came on and would run for a few seconds, then the screen would go black for a second or two and when it came back it was showing the winning coach being interviewed for a few seconds, then black screen, then the post game show starting, then back to the commercial, back to the interview, back to the commercial.
It was almost like someone was doing this deliberately though I doubt that was the case. Anyone else experience this recently?
