I just noticed that this is in a forum for the NBC network. This probably never belonged here but where is the right place to discuss a story concerning a local station?

considering its a staff member who posted it I think its fine being here as there are folks outside of NY who can see WNBC
Dish subs with distants
Directv subs with distants (like Dfergie)
Folks in NY
People who still steal via free to air receivers
Folks in Puerto Rico/USVI (they have WVGN Virgin Islands which is WNBC + different commercials and some programming. They do show the WNBC news though)

so in this case NBC forum fits the bill
