Is the Super Joey noisy like a regular DVR (625, 722k, etc.)? I'm considering one for my master bedroom, but I loathe the noise of a standard DVR especially during the 4 AM reboot.

Thanks.

Unless all those electrons get rowdy. ;)

I have a Super Joey in my bedroom...like JM42 said, no moving parts or cooling fans, so its perfectly silent! :D

And I doubt if it would be a 4am reboot, more like somewhere between 1-2am - that's when most Hopper/Joeys reboot - with no way to change the time like on the older dvr's.

You had a 4am reboot only if that is what you set, sometime before, with the 722.
The Hopper usually starts just before 1:30am to ask to allow a reboot and again each hour after that until daytime(?).
It will not reboot on its own if a program is scheduled and only asks if on but not actively being changed.
AFAIK, -Ken

anything going on with 129?

Do I need to ground a dish that is sitting on the ground?
