suspending service (1 Viewer)

This october we got dish for our cabin, We just got the basic plan with no contracts. Now that hunting season is over they said I could call and have shut off and then call again to turn it back on this summer.

My question is this, Is it a pain when I go to turn it back on? What is involved with this process?

You can suspend it for up to 6 months at a time. I use to do this for really the same reason (old 2 1/2 season cabin and we didnt go there in the winter)

suspending it is easy...just tell them you need to suspend it
reactivating is easy too....tell them your account was voluntarily suspended and you want to reactivate it. They turn it back on and in 10 minutes you have TV

When I called in to turn the account back on it was very easy to do

After 6 months they automatically turn it back on (found that out one year) ;)
