Switching for one tuner to two tuners using remote (622)

I'm very familiar with the mode button on my 622 unit to switch from one tuner source to two tuners so we can watch different programs on two tvs. Is it possible to switch between the two by just using the remote? It's kind of a pain having to get up and open the cabinet just to press a button (lazy I know). This always seems an issue because of DVR recordings and the wife will override what I have set if she wants to watch something and the 622 is on two-tuner mode.

No, the only switch is on the front of the receiver.
