I Have a 622 & 501 W/1000 and they work but, 129 is weak 30's to 50's with dropouts & lockup on the 622. Called Dish Store and orderd a 500 dish. Mounted the new dish pulled the 129 LNBF out of the 1000 installed it in the new one (same coax pulled it out of the 1000 arm & up the 500).
Pointed dish at 61.5. Used Dish 300 for 61.5 angles. In point dish screen I get 90 wrong sat 119. Covered the 110-119 LNBF and have no signal. Cannot peak 61.5 w/piont dish it will defalt to 119. Where did I go wrong? I think it will see 61.5 low hill in the S. East. Zip 53508
Thank You All DML

The LNB for 129 should be a dual not a twin, so it should only see one satellite. You leave the DPP Twin on the D1000. Run check switch and if you have 61.5 it will show there.

I pulled the 129 LNB off the 1000 and mounted it in the new 500 the DPP Twin is in the 1000 and working.
Can I use the point dish in the 622 to FIND and peak 61.5 the same as 119? Or do I need a hand held @ the dish to find it? It sounds like I need a signal from 61.5 for the 622 to recognize it. Could I use the 501 to find and peak 61.5? A lot of questions from somone who had a C Band for 10yrs. and two of these for a another 10. The better they get the dummer I get! DML

"It sounds like I need a signal from 61.5 for the 622 to recognize it." Yes, you need to have signal from the satellite so it could be added to the switch matrix when you run check switch.

Use the angles from the Point Dish screen, just enter your zipcode and select Dish 300. Do you have a Y yoke or an I yoke for the D500? If you have the Y yoke, you'll be off 9 degrees so depending on which side of the yoke you put the LNB you'll need to go 9 degrees to the east or west.

I will not use a 501 to find 61.5. The 501 cannot see some of the TPs off 61.5 or 129. If you do, use one of the following TPs to peak: 8, 10, 12 or 15.

I recieved an I yoke with the 500. When trying to find 61.5 with the point dish screen (622) after 2 or 3 min. I will get a red bar and wrong sat. 119.
