Taking info off the DVR (722)

Is there any way I can take content of my 722 DVR and put it onto my PC?

Not "legally." Content providers require Dish to make it difficult.

Absolutely, but you just won't be able to view it due to encryption...not legally, anyway.

Yes, as long as it isn't HBO/Showtime which is encrypted on the internal disk.

With a set of analog-to-digital converters (a TiVo?) you could change the RGB+LR outputs to digital, probably legally. Certainly not convenient. Also a DVD+-R for SD (S-Video at best) or a BluRay recorder for HD., maybe.

My archiving on HDDs has gotten out of hand--currently HD films at 825, SD at 546, hundreds of series show. Come on TCM-HD.
