Just not sure what a thread is and what is the diff between new thread and thread and some other various terms. newbie here :confused:
 
Welcome.

A new thread is when you start a new topic. (Infact New Topic is better description then New Thread)

Post reply is when you reply to an existing Thread (or topic) :D
