Doing a wacky experiment with an S-band antenna.

Satellite receivers, in the long run, tune S-band coming from the LNB (950 mhz to 1450 Mhz).

I did a blind scan with that setup just to see if I could get any terrestrial s-band transmissions. Anyone ever try this? It's an oddball experiment but I thought I'd try it. Anyone else try it? Open to criticism and comments.

P.S. Nothing scanned in, only a few spikes on the meter.
