The Big Bang Theory Moving Time Slots Next Season

CBS released its fall schedule today, and The Big Bang Theory got a huge vote of confidence by the network. It is moving to the most coveted time slot on TV at 9:30 on Mondays. The Big Bang Theory should be taking its place as the next mega hit sitcom behind Two and a Half Men. Here is the new Monday lineup for the Fall :

Monday

8 p.m. - "How I Met Your Mother"

8:30 p.m. – "Accidentally on Purpose" (new comedy)

9 p.m. – "Two and a Half Men"

9:30 p.m. – "The Big Bang Theory"

10 p.m. – "CSI: Miami"

The interesting thing is that they have enough confidence in HIMYM that they are using it to draw audiences to the new sitcom. Looks like two and a half men and BBT are being used to shore up the sagging CSI: Miami.

Its going to be a mid-season replacement.

And I liked the 7pm start of the big bang theory... I'd sit down at 7:30 or so and start watching my Monday night TV recordings.

Its too bad that CBS won't give Rules of Engagement a full season. It is pretty fun stuff.

I agree, I liked it starting at 7pm, but I guess I can live with 8:30.

I can always push it to a Tuesday or later in the week watching.

Mashing the 30 second skip... "What?!?! Live TV? I'll go play on the forums and let it buffer up!"

Don't care for me. We have scouts on Monday, so I don't sit down until 9 anyway.
