Dishnetwork abruptly discontinued rebroadcasting of the Filipino Mabuhay Channel which is/was FTA from 146E Agila2. Does anyone know what happened?

Was it transmitted from another bird besides the 121?

The Mabuhay Channel was most recently on 118.7W on Ch0712 Tp2. DN will post refunds on the next bill, no reason given.

Is the Filipino channels on any other FTA birds for the west coast states. I assume 146E is way out of range for West Coast ??

146e is below horizon for continental USA. I don't see this channel on any other satellites besides that one. Looks like OP might have to send a slingbox to a family member or friend in the Philippines.

Yea I figure it was way out of reach for us here in the states, but I found an alternative for those looking for Filipino programming Pinoy Channel TV - Today "Youtube quality video, but it works great when using the Firefox browser, I guess more of your IPTV, so far it's free"

There are actually Fillipino viewers getting the only Tagalog channels on Dish. Aren't most of them Direct TV customers getting TFC (Filipino Channel)??
