I know the 700u is not out yet but based on what we do know...spec sheets, CES etc what will be the advantages of the 700 over the Pro-HD besides:

Connectivity- Simply plug it in your USB and done?

And are there any disadvantages known or perceived?

Ultimately...if they were both out today...which one would you recommend buying?

The 700u is only compatible with the DISH Network DVR where the Slingbox Pro HD will work with multiple devices and includes a fully capable TV tuner. That's a biggie.

The disadvantage to the Slingbox Pro HD is that it must take over TV1 to work where the 700u doesn't need a video decoder to work.

Not nearly enough is known about the 700u to make a critical comparison. There's also the question of whether or not it is compatible with EHDs (it should be, but who knows).
