I've been gone for a couple years, primarily for the Uverse wireless receivers. I'm considering getting dish for 3 TV's. @ must be wireless and one will be connected via coax. Now, none are connected by coax. The Uverse DVR is connected by CAT6 ro modem, and than I have a wireless gateway on the 2nd floor hardwired to my modem via cat 6.
Do the Joey's work good wirelessly? I use apple extreme for wifi.

Wireless Joeys work off their own access point. However, I do not have one so I can't speak to how well they work.

They do have distance limitations and don't work as far as advertised. If your house is very large and you had the wireless Joey at the opposite end as the Hopper/access point, it might be a problem.
