any feedback on how you like this service compared to regular phone service?
also i know i can use my same # if i switch but do i need to cancel with phone company first?

It is almost exactly the same as regular phone service. I like it very much. You just have to remember that if your power goes out so does your phone service. If you are going to keep your phone number they usually cancel or have you cancel while they are there installing it so you won't be without phone service.
