Thinking of upgrading my two recievers to HD

Is there anything else involved besides Dish sending them and me hooking them up? New RG-6 wiring? New Dish? I have a Dish 500 that was installed about 6 years ago.

Sure, you can upgrade your recievers to HD, but you will be missing out on a lot of national programming if you aren't picking up 61.5 or 129 birds and possibly some local programing in HD at 118 depending on your location.

To answer your question, yes there is more involved but you need to provide more information, like your location, local station market, what types of TV's, etc.
