This is really an odd problem

First, I have a 622 which I have had for a couple of years.

Last night I was watching Idol on the my Columbus locals which on 129. It keep popping up I last signal on 129 spot beam 4. This is the odd part. It would not go away until I hit guide, as soon as I hit guide the picture would come back and then the guide would come up. I it have done this 20 times. What's even more odd is that I paused the show for a about 5 minutes, when I went back to watch it recored fine, but the lost signal message came back up, so I hit guide and the show comes back, I hit the back button and there is no problem with the signal. Man this was irritating.

Has anyone ever experienced anything like this?

I believe you have a software glitch causing signal loss of one of the other tuners showing up. I had the same thing last year, I did a hard reset and the problem went away.

Typically happens to me if the PIP source gets set for OTA... Press PIP, then SWAP, then change to another sat channel, then turn off PIP

software glitch. reset and everything should be fine.
