timer records each game twice

With the hopper now, but had the same issue last summer with my 722. I set a timer to record all Brewers MLB games from my regional sports network. Most or all games are broadcast on 2 channels.
The problem is that my timer records both channels.
Is there a trick to setting my timer to only record one instance of each game? The channel number varies from day to day.

Did you set a Seek and Record timer? If so I think it's going to record both. You might want to set a record series, new, on one of the channels.
